Our creative team needed to work within the confines of tight security on the busiest night of the year in London’s restricted zone due to the New Year’s Eve firework display.  We worked closely with the London Mayor’s New Year’s Eve organisers to gain our guests exclusive access to the boat.

After a three-day scenic and production build the space is magically transformed. Styling has included ‘Scandinavian Nights and Northern Lights’ where guests embraced the winter weather and wrapped up in warm ‘Scandi-Chic’ attire whilst the boat was uniquely dressed in opulent faux furs, warm winter throws, outdoor heaters, delicious food and drink to ensure all guests were comfortable both inside and on deck.  Scandi style market food huts, kiosks with hot cocktails and toddies and a bark clad outdoor bar were built on the top deck, whilst below deck an ice bar and vodka luge, frosted DJ booth and cracked ice dancefloor had our suitably chilled guests partying into the night. 

A hard act to follow, but subsequent years have seen amazing transformations including ‘The Boat that Rocked’ where music and bands played throughout the night, to the dressing of some serious cool 70’s throw backs.   Followed by ‘Decades’ which was a journey through our musical history, as well as a nod to celebrating a new decade.  All we can say at this stage is, after a break due to COVID, this year’s party will certainly be a hot ticket!
