The Peninsula London – 1 Grosvenor Pl, London, SW1X 7HJ

Belgravia’s newest ballroom

The newly built and impeccably designed London ‘Pen’, overlooking Wellington Arch, opens to great acclaim this month.

The 190 bedrooms (131 guest rooms and 59 suites) have been designed by Peter Marino. Many have floor to ceiling windows with the largest suite creating 14,000 square feet if you need it! The hotel offers six meeting rooms, a 15-seat screening room and one grand ballroom (380 classroom, 650 theatre, 1,200 cocktails).

Claude Bosi’s spectacular rooftop restaurant, Brooklands, pays homage to British aviation and motorsport. Apparently it has a scale model of Concorde suspended from the ceiling in the main dining room!
