Raffles London at The OWO - 57 Whitehall, London SW1A 2BX

Something new at the OWO

Raffles London has just opened its doors at The OWO, once the Old War Office and epicentre of British Government in Whitehall.

With 120 rooms and suites, the hotel will have 11 restaurants and bars, including the much anticipated Mauro Colagreco and the Milanese restaurant Paper Moon.

Hôtel Martinez - PR, 73 Bd de la Croisette, 06400 Cannes, France

Ballroom bliss

360 mapping has now come to the South of France, with the Hotel Martinez introducing cutting edge technology in their plenary event space Le Festival. Delegates can now be fully transported at the click of a button, with technology that can offer a fully immersive experience.

We’ve seen the likes of this in purpose-built spaces like Frameless and Outernet. Will we now see this within hotel ballrooms as we move forward in this technological age?

Borough Market - London, SE1 9AL

Buzzing B-Corp inspiration at Borough Market

Powwow is currently in the midst of its B-Corp journey, and we love to shout out about anything sustainable!

Our neighbour, Borough Market, has a brilliant online blog that informs you about their policy around reducing food waste – something we in events are very passionate about.

We particularly love Entocycle – an insect farm!

Bread Ahead - Borough Market, Cathedral St, London, SE1 9DE

Go nuts for doughnuts!

We love colour at Powwow and like to incorporate it as much as we can into events. The Pantone colour of the year for 2024 is Peach Fuzz; a light, delicate shade that sits between pink and orange and marks the 25th anniversary of Pantone’s Colour of the Year. This heartfelt hue expresses the desire to nurture kindness, compassion and connection, how lovely.

Broadwick Soho - 20 Broadwick St, London, W1F 8HT

Hello Soho

We recently had a sneaky peak around Broadwick Soho, a beautiful townhouse with 57 bedrooms nestled into Soho’s famous Broadwick Street.

Styled by Martin Brundnizki, the man behind club Annabel’s and seafood restaurant Scotts. The hotel is a feast for the eyes with many original artworks and commissioned pieces.  The final touches are just being added to this gorgeous property in the heart of Soho, which is opening on 1st November.

The top floor private dining room overlooks Soho and has a stunning solid oak long table for 24 people. The 7th floor Flute Bar, which boasts original Andy Warhol artwork, can hold 20 people for drinks. It can also be privately hired for up to 100pax.

Museum of Happiness

Supplier Spotlight

Museum of Happiness was born in 2015 after its co-founders met and realised their shared vision to spread more peace, love and happiness in the world.

We have included co-founder Vicky and her team in several of our corporate events and she has gone down a storm – from mindful walks to meditation and sound baths.

Vicky is currently hosting a free 30 minute Happiness and Self-Care Session on their Facebook page. Look out for the annual ‘blue Monday’ Winter Happiness Festival to be announced soon.  What’s not to love!

Searcys Champagne Bar - Battersea Power Station, London, SW11 8DD

Pan Pacific London - 80 Houndsditch, London EC3A 7AB

Pan Pacific Pooch, Powwow Events

How posh is your pooch?

We love the Pan Pacific London and recently held a hugely successful event there. We didn’t take our dogs along. But you can, together with your cats!

As a pet-loving hotel, they will provide everything you need for your furry friends to enjoy. Be it a freshly cooked meal for your pup or a 5* litter tray for your cat.
