Exclusive Collection - The Reeds

Sublime sensations

One of the UK’s only certified B Corp hotel groups is the truly sustainable Exclusive Collection, who we have been working with for 25+ years. Their vision for their future is truly ground-breaking. On the way are eight new lakeside lodges ‘The Reeds’, including two spa lodges, combining biophilic design principles with sustainable architecture to harmonise with the Sussex countryside. Launching Summer 2024 at South Lodge with full access to the hotel facilities. They look incredible!

Jimmy Garcia Catering

Unparalleled food experiences

Jimmy Garcia Catering are one of our ‘go to’ foodies in our industry. Their 10 Mile London and Three Pillar Approach (local provenance, zero waste and seasonal) are key to their thought-led approach to event catering. Their food and service are seriously outstanding too!

International Women’s Day - Micebook Event

Women empowering women

Micebook created a fantastic IWD event on Friday, 8 March at Tobacco Dock. From inspirational speakers, such as Professor Elaine Kasket whose talk ‘Reclaiming your life in a tech obsessed world’ resonated with everyone in the room, to industry colleagues talking about their journey into the events world and where they are going next. Our very own newly appointed MD Katie Curzon also made an eloquent and thoughtful addition to the final panel ‘Pathways Ahead: What’s Next’

Tobacco Dock

Wapping wonder

Built in 1812, with stunning architecture and masses of space, the events area within Tobacco Dock is expansive.  The venue boasts over 16,000 square meters of event space spread across multiple levels, providing ample room for conferences, exhibitions, product launches, gala dinners, and more. It offers seating for up to 1,500 in the theatre - we love the quayside spaces and unique courtyards, and the contrast between the flexible heritage building and cutting-edge experiential design. The in-house catering is also excellent, with amazing food waste initiatives from Olio and City Harvest.
Fun fact: The venue experienced a Bengal tiger attack in 1839!

Laylo

We give them 10 out of 10

Female-owned Laylo offer delicious wines that are kinder to the planet. All their wines are sourced by a Master of Wine, and packaged in the prettiest 2.5ltr boxes. Perfect for a summer event! Daisy is pictured at an IWD event at No.10. Congratulations!

Boxes and kegs – the facts:
🌍 Produce 90% less carbon than glass bottles
🌿 Stay fresh for 6 weeks from opening, so no wine wasted
🤩 Are more compact and save on fridge space
💸 Reduce costs of bottle recycling

Blendology

Tap in with Blendology

We experienced Blendology’s One Tap technology last week.  Their paperless, sustainable and cool badge technology allows conference guests to connect with each other by a simple tap and to view their agendas for the day in real time.

Connecting has never been easier!

Wonky Coffee

Deliciously imperfect

A tiny company with a big mission!  Wonky Coffee is a lovely story of two best mates who came up with the idea of saving dented but perfectly useable coffee pods which would normally have been put in the bin. Brilliant initiative for use at an event, in the office or at home!

Tony’s Chocolonely

Ethical Easter eggs

We all love a bit of chocolate and with such a gorgeous range of flavours, there’s only one place to go – Tony’s Chocolonely! A brand who holds high values at the heart of what they do, with their mission of creating exploit free chocolate. Oh and they’re a B Corp too. With Easter around the corner, where better to do your shopping?!

And finally - National Puppy Day

National Puppy Day - March 23 - Celebrating our furry friends!

You know we all love dogs at Powwow, and on March 23, National Puppy Day celebrates the unconditional love and affection puppies bring to our lives.

Brighten up any kind of event with Paws in Work. Who offer puppy therapy and teach the benefits of cuddling puppies - yes you heard us right! Get it booked in!
